The MEF Young European Internship Programme’s objective is to place European interns in Malaysian companies, in order to raise cultural awareness and better mutual understanding between Malaysia and Europe.

We recruit only the most qualified individuals, screening each participant for maturity, motivation, and English fluency. Before accepting a candidate into our programme, we conduct a thorough interview, verify related work experience and ensure that he or she is qualified to receive a work permit. MEF works with an extensive network of international organisations and universities to recruit internship participants.

Flexibility:
Unlike many Malaysian university or college interns, participants from the MEF Internship Programme can work with you beyond the length of a semester break. Interns are eligible to stay for up to  6 months. In the event where employers  are satisfied with the performance of the interns and would like to hire them as a full-time employee, employers are advised to make sure that she or he has no obligations to continue their studies back in their home country.

Affordability:
While most of the international internship programmes require you to pay an administration and service fee, here you do not need to pay the MEF anything.The Programme is free for interns and employers.
